
Welcome to Irons in the Fire clubhouse restaurant nestled in the historic and beautiful San Clemente Municipal Golf Course. What began as a labor of love for golf course designer Billy Bell, this classic public golf course built in 1920 has blossomed into a full size, full service golf destination known as the Crown Jewel of the Pacific.
The $5 million clubhouse renovation resulted in a brand new beautiful Spanish colonial-style restaurant hich has become Irons in the Fire, the third establishment for entrepreneur and restaurant survivalist, Dave Donaldson.

We honor the past and say a fond farewell to the old clubhouse and restaurant, Bogey's, where the community as well as Dave and his family, shared many great memories. Looking to the future, Dave assembled a great team for Irons. Dave's brother, Mark Donaldson, is General Manager and a successful plein air artist. Mark lived in the Caribbean for the past 15 years and moved back to California to help Dave grow the business. His awesome, dedicated team includes Chef Jeff Brown and managers Wendy Henderson and Melissa Hundley. Together with their staff, a relaxed, comfortable place to enjoy great food and excellent service is created for you to enjoy. |
